Annual Oyster Roast


Our annual oyster roast will be Saturday December 9th at 1pm at the club. Bring a shucking knife, your favorite beverage and join us for all the oysters you can shuck for just 10.00/person!!!!!

Annual Stockholders meeting is Nov 11, 2017

The WSC membership and annual stockholders meeting will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 6 PM.

The meeting will be held at Columbus County Arts Council building in downtown Whiteville located at 822 South Madison Street (2 blocks south of the railroad) located across from Sherwin Williams Paint Store.

Dinner will be catered and is likely to cost $12 per person, children $3. Wine and cheese reception is free!

Program may include photoshow of WSC activities and sailing information. Elections of 2018 class of Directors, sailing awards, year in review, and good fellowship is the order of the day.

Come prepared to talk about enticements to greater participation in 2018. The only scheduled item of business is the election of members of the Board Directors.

Indian Summer Regatta 2017, October 14-15

The Indian Summer Regatta will be held this year on October 14-15 at Lake Waccamaw, NC. We’re looking forward to a great turnout again this year!

There’s plenty of space for camping, RV’s, hot showers, and a full kitchen at your disposal. Support boats will be on site, and there should be plenty of staff on-hand.

Saturday’s dinner is shaping up to be a excellent with the usual southern sides and yummy dessert, and possibly more!
